BLAKE SPILLER – General Manager / Head Coach terriercoach@outlook.com

A Portage la Prairie native, Blake first made a name for himself with the Terriers as a player in the early 80’s. Spiller played several seasons for the club, his final as team captain. He returned to the Terrier fold in 2001 as an assistant coach to Don MacGillivray. Blake spent five years in the assistant role, helping the team to an ANAVET Cup championship in 2005. When MacGillivray left in 2006, Blake assumed the head coach’s role and the team has seen unprecedented success ever since winning multiple MJHL League Championships and the Royal Bank Cup. Blake has won the MJHL Coach of the Year award four times and the CJHL Coach of the Year title three times.

PAUL HARLAND – Assistant Coach

Originally from Portage la Prairie, Paul’s junior hockey career started as a 17-year-old rookie with the St. James Canadians in 1983. After two seasons in St. James, Paul was traded to his hometown Terriers and in his final season, captained the team while winning the league’s MVP award. He joined the Terriers coaching staff as an assistant in 2006 and has been an integral part of the club’s success during his time here.
