The Terriers were involved in a 3 way trade with the Winnipeg Blues and the Penticton Vees that nets the club a 19 year old forward in Turner Ripplinger.

5’10 165 pound Regina native Ripplinger played his last season in the BCHL with the Penticton Vees. Ripplinger dressed for 45 games and earned 3 goals and 6 assists. Previously the right winger suited up with the Regina Pat Canadians of the SMHL for 43 games earning more than a point per game.

The Terriers traded the CJHL playing rights of veteran Kain Stevenson to the Winnipeg Blues along with future considerations.

“Kain is a solid person and an important piece to our success the past two seasons. However with the addition of defenceman Cole Thompson and Cole Oliver returning for for his 20 year old season, we felt we needed more depth up front. Ripplinger was a top Saskatchewan AAA Midget player with the Regina Pat Canadians and has championship experience with Penticton last season. We are looking forward to getting Turner in to our line up.” – Blake Spiller head coach and GM.
