After giving up a goal 1:12 in to the game on Dauphin’s first shot, Knee from Briscoe, the Terriers took over to beat the Kings 5-1.
Moffatt, Enns and Pierce all added markers for the Terriers to lead 3-1 after 20 minutes outshooting the visiting team 11-4. Enns extended his scoring streak to 4 games.
Portage’s Ripplinger buried a shot from the ringette line just :33 in to the second, the lone goal of the 2nd frame.
Moffatt tipped his second goal of the game passed Kitchen in the 3rd for a 5-1 Terriers final.
Neither team was able to take advantage of the powerplay Portage 0/3 and Dauphin 0/5. Petersen earns in the win in net facing just 12 shots.
The Terriers are back in action tonight as they head to Swan Valley to face the Stampeders.
