A new year has arrived and the Portage Terriers are ready to hit the ice flying. Despite finishing 2025 with a 5-0 loss to the Steinbach Pistons, the Terriers do look back upon December with fond memories.
The Terriers won the first five games of the month and are sitting 3rd in the MJHL and 10th in the CJHL top 20 rankings. Rookie sensation Drayden Uhrina is heating up! He recorded 12 points in his last six games and was named the RBC Player of the Month for December.

The Terriers are back on the ice Wednesday night against the Dauphin Kings at 7:30pm! It’s a Wild Wednesday game, so Dairy Queen will be giving away free Dilly Bars to the first 100 fans in the building.
MARK YOUR CALENDAR! The home game on Dec. 17 vs the Niverville Nighthawks had to be postponed due to poor driving conditions. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday Jan. 27.
The road game scheduled for January 14 against the Winnipeg Blues has been moved to January 15 at 12pm in Stonewall, MB. The game will still be broadcast on 920AM CFRY.
