The 2026 MJHL Turnbull Cup playoffs are underway and the Portage Terriers are tied at 1 with the Steinbach Pistons in their best of seven quarter final series. Portage started strong on the road winning game one 3-2 in Steinbach. Logan Cunningham was the Terriers’ player of the game, stopping 36 of the 38 shots that came his way.
The Pistons bounced back in game two beating the Terriers 4-2 at Stride Place. Through the first two games, Drayden Uhrina and Rhett Platt are tied for the team lead with two points each.
Game three is at the Southeast Events Centre in Steinbach on Tuesday March 24, 2026 at 7pm. Tickets are available online at tickets.steinbachpistons.ca. The Terriers then host Steinbach for game four on Friday, March 27 at 7:30pm. Tickets for Terrier home games are available at Stride Place reception or online at tickets.portageterriers.com.
