The Portage Terriers continued to roll this last week picking up three wins over the Winnipeg Blues (5-4OT, 4-2) and the Selkirk Steelers (4-3). They have officially clinched 3rd place in the MGEU East division, which means they will meet the Steinbach Pistons in a best of seven first round series. Dates and times TBD.
The Terriers have three games left; two against the Monarchs and one against the Nighthawks.

Early in the week it was announced that Owen Witt was named the MJHL defenceman of the year and Trevor Hill was the MJHL Rookie of the year. They will be recognized before the game on Sunday Mar. 15. Congrats guys!
Speaking of awards, the Terriers will be holding their annual team awards banquet on Saturday March 14 at 5pm in the Stride Place Multi Purpose room. All are welcome! After the awards ceremony, there will be a FREE Terrier Skills Competition at 6:30pm! It will feature fastest skater, hardest shot, shootout and more! After the competition wraps up there will be a free skate with the Terriers on the ice!
