“Ty really has been a dream to work with and a role model to every hockey player that comes through our program.

Ty is currently in his third season with Portage and has been a great ambassador for not only the Terriers, but for the MJHL as well. Ty is always up for community events and especially likes giving back to local youth hockey and skating programs. He has worked with Can Skate and the Recreational Opportunities for Kids Hockey Skills Program. Ty has volunteered with the Youth Golf Program, the Heart and Stroke Foundation as well as being the Terrier liaison with our local RCMP to do monthly school visits to speak about positive life choices.

He really has taken every opportunity to get involved in the community and we’re proud that he’s a Terriers. ” Marketing Director Heather Jordan
