Former Portage Terriers Mackenzie Dwyer to join fellow teammate Jeremey Leipsic at the University of Manitoba for the upcoming Bison season.

Dwyer played for the Terriers as a rookie in 2014/15 before heading to the Everett Silvertips of the WHL for a season and a half. Portage re-acquired the Winnipeg native where he finished up his Junior career with 53 points in 60 games.

“Mackenzie was a member of our RBC Championship season as well as Turnbull Cup Championship in 2016-2017. We thank him for his time in Portage and congratulate him on continuing his education and hockey career.” Coach and GM Blake Spiller
