The weather was chilly but spirits were high at the first annual Geno Romanow Par 3 Challenge. Alumni, fans, and business partners came together to make the day a success. Thousands of dollars were raised in Geno’s name for the Terrier organization.
Golfers were treated to a players pack of a commemorative divot remover, a pair of Terrier tickets and a gift certificate for Bill’s Sticky Fingers. Due to COVID 19 the meal certificate was given instead of an after round banquet.
The tournament kept the same playing format as years past with “closest to the pin” prizes on every hole, but the feel of the event was different with the honouring of Geno.
