Terrier President David Koroscil and CFPDI Past Chair Warren Neufeld
PORTAGE, September 16, 2025 – The Portage Terriers received a cheque for over $500 on Friday from the Geno Romanow Legacy Fund through the Community Foundation of Portage and District.
The Geno Romanow Legacy fund was created in 2021 by his daughter Lisa Romanow in his memory. The annual investment income from the fund is to go to the Portage Terriers for the purpose of purchasing equipment or upgrading their dressing room.
The Terriers renamed their annual golf tournament in honour of their dedicated trainer, who sadly passed away May 8, 2020.
