Growing For The Future

The Portage Terriers are pleased to announce two new agriculture based fundraising initiatives: “Crop Club 2020” and “Grow Project 2020”. Agriculture is the backbone of our community and the Terriers are always looking for creative ways to garner support.

The new “Crop Club” provides farmers a homegrown way to help the team. To be a part of the club, donate a portion of your harvest to the Terriers when at one of our partner elevators:
G3
Parrish & Heimbecker Gladstone and Rathwell
Delmar Comodities Gladstone and Westroc
Hensall Coop
Tax receipts will be provided.

All Crop Club members will be recognized at a Terrier home game and will get use of the luxury suite. Partner with us this harvest and be a part of the Portage Terriers Crop Club.

“Grow Project 2020”
started with Overton Environmental who generously donated 25 acres of land West of Portage. New Gen Seed Services has donated soybean seed for the project and Munro Agri Ventures have agreed to seed and maintain the field during the growing season. Enns Bros Portage has stepped up to take care of harvest in Fall. Thanks to the hard work of these partners, the Terriers will receive 100% of the proceeds from the field.

If you have any questions about either initiative and how you can be a part of it, please email marketing director Cody Buhler: portageterriers@outlook.com.

Thank you to all our partner businesses. We look forward to a successful growing season!
