Hit The Links This Fall With the Portage Terriers

The Portage Terriers are excited to bring back the 3rd Annual Geno Romanow Par 3 Challenge on Sunday, September 11th, at the Portage Golf Course!

The day will open with registration at 10:30 am in the golf course parking lot. A Boston Pizza lunch will arrive at 11 am. The tournament will begin at Noon with a shotgun start.

The annual event features Terrier players on every hole to greet you as you play the modified 18 hole course.  Thousands of dollars will be given away through the many closest-to-the-pin prizes.

The Texas Scramble format (“Best Ball”) helps to create a fun relaxed atmosphere on the course. Teams are encouraged to golf  in groups of 8 to help speed up the pace of play and increase the fun.

To register or book your cart for the day: please visit portagegolfclub.ca.

For more information, please contact marketing director Cody Buhler at portageterriers@outlook.com.

The tournament was renamed in 2020 in honour of Geno Romanow who served as the Terriers’ equipment manager and trainer from 1974-2020.
