Hockey season is just around the corner, and so is the 2020 Junior A Hockey Championship. As time seems to fly, it goes without saying that our event will be here before we know it!
The volunteer registration, jacket sizing and payment will take place at 7:00 PM on Tuesday September 17 in the atrium at Stride Place. The cost to volunteers will be the same as in 2015. There are three options.
1) $25 gives you volunteer apparel, access to volunteer lounge and the cabaret. NO ACCESS TO HOCKEY GAMES.
2) $90 gives you volunteer apparel access to volunteer lounge and the cabaret. Plus standing room viewing of all hockey games.
3) $190 gives you volunteer apparel, access to volunteer lounge and the cabaret. Plus a guaranteed reserved seat to all games. (that is the same price as the early bird tickets were).
So if you have already bought an event package there is no additional charge to volunteer.
You still need to come and register and be sized for your jacket.
All volunteers will need to have a criminal record check. If working directly with the teams or minors, you will need an additional vulnerable person check.
There will be no charge to the volunteer for this. Any one driving a VIP van will also need a driver’s abstract. Again, at no charge to the volunteer.
