Brett Orr, Orrsy to his teammates was named as one of five finalists for the CJHL Defensemen of the year.
Earlier in the year the assistant captain was the recipient of the Brian Kozak trophy for Defencemen of the year in the MJHL. The veteran Terrier also won gold with Team Canada as part of Team West in the Junior A Challenge in December.
Orr had this to say about the nomination. “I was really excited to see my name picked. I played with Pashinchuk and Fabbro at Canada West and they are both exceptional Dmen and to be mentioned in the same category as them, I’m truly honoured. At the same time it’s a team game and I couldn’t have done it without my teammates.”
The recipient of the 2015 CJHL Defencemen of the Year and all CJHL League Awards will be announced during the week of May 9th-13th.
