Portage Adds Size to the Line Up With Zimmer

The Portage Terriers have acquired the CJHL playing rights of 97 F Rylee Zimmer of the SJHL Melville Millionaires for Daniel McKitrick.

The Russell Manitoba native Zimmer spent some time in the MJHL playing for the Waywayseecappo Wolverines before being traded to the Flin Flon Bombers where he played his 2016/17 season.

The 6’2, 174 pound centre scored 21 goals and put up 43 assists in 50 games. Zimmer was traded to the Melville Millionaires this summer where he’s played just 2 games this season before being traded to the MJHL.

Portage gives up former Cobourg Cougar and RBC Cup Champ Daniel McKitrick. McKitrick started the season with the Terriers playing in 10 games and earning 12 points.
