Portage Shut Out in Game 1 of NJAC

The game winner was scored just 1:15 in to the first as the Terriers got off to a slow start.

Walsh ends up in alone on Moore as Portage makes a line change, and finds the back of the net.

Portage dominated play in the 2nd, but were unable to get one by Boisvert despite outshooting the Senators 11-6.

Boulerice doubled Ottawa`s lead 1:33 into the third redirecting a point shot just as the penalty to Portage expired. Kyle Jackson rounded out the scoring going top shelf from the slot for a 3-0 Ottawa final.

Portage went 0/5 on the powerplay and 5/5 on the penalty kill.

Next up the Terriers take on the hometown Bandits tomorrow night at 8:00pm CST.
