Portage sneaks in a couple trades

Portage sneaks in a couple trades before regular season is set to start on the road in Virden tomorrow at Tundra Oil and Gas Place.

The Terriers acquire 97 Goalie Travis Klassen and 97 Forward Chase Fincaryk from the Winkler Flyers for future considerations.

Klassen a 6’1, 155 pound net minder from Carman played his 2014-15 season with the Pembina Valley Hawks. Klassen racked up a solid 28 wins with a .891 save percentage.

Fincaryk is a 6’0 172 pound native of Winnipeg. Last season Chase played for Miles Mac High school and notched an impressive 48 points in 21 games played.
