Portage strikes deal with Swan Valley

With today being the MJHL trade deadline, Portage has made another trade.

The Terriers have traded the CJHL playing rights of Calvin Bliid and future considerations to the Swan Valley Stampeders for CJHL playing rights of Josh Martin F 97 and Lasse Peterson G 97.

Martin is a 20 year old native of Elkhorn Manitoba who has played for the Swan Valley Stampeders the last 2 seasons. The 6’0 185 pound forward has scored 8 goals and notched 15 assists in 37 games played this season.

Peterson is currently playing in the WHL for the Red Deer Rebels as well as having played for Denmark in the World Juniors.
