Portage to Play for Central Plains Cancer Services

The Terriers play host to the OCN Blizzard for the first time this season and the ice will be lavender when they do. This Saturday the Terriers will be in special jerseys to raise money and awareness for Central Plains Cancer Services.

The jerseys will be auctioned off during the game with the proceeds going to CPCS who relies on funding from donations and events such as this to provide their services.

“We use the monies for our education programs, Kids Can Cope program and transportation services. So far in 2017 we have provided just over 900 rides for cancer patients to their cancer treatments and appointments.

Community support from organizations such as the Terriers is extremely important not only for raising funds but for helping us raise awareness about out programs and services.  ” – Sharilyn Knox CPCS Executive Director

There will be a silent auction with a lot of great prizes and Miller Agritec is our game sponsor.

It’s going to be a fun night! Get your tickets early and join us.
