McKitrick won the RBC Cup with the Cobourg Cougars.

The Terriers add experience to the roster in acquiring 20 year old RBC Cup Champion Daniel McKitrick in another 3 way trade.

Portage trades the CJHL playing rights of goalie Curtis Chapman  to the Calgary Mustangs of the AJHL for future considerations. The Terriers turn around and receive McKitrick, a Coral Harbour Nunavut native.

McKitrick finished his last season with the RBC Host and winning team the Cobourg Cougars after being traded from the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL.  He played 22 games in the OJHL scoring 9 goals and 17 assists.

“Chapman will pursue WHL options and if returned to the CJHL, requested to be closer to home. McKitrick won the RBC Cup with Cobourg last season. He is a player we pursued previously. He is a very quick offensive player who we look forward to having in the line up this season.”
