The Portage Terriers have acquired F Dawson Madden (05) from the Winnipeg Blues in exchange for D Alex Thompson (06).
Madden (6’1″, 194) is joining his sixth team in the last three seasons. Last year he played 10 games in the NCDC before moving to the Hinton Timberwolves (CAJHL) where he put up 59 goals and 50 assists for 109 points in 33 games. This year with the Blues he has four points in 20 games.
The Evansburg, AB product was teammates with current Terrier Jonny Ballos on the St. Albert Crusaders U18 AA team in 2021-22.
