Terriers Add Gisti to the Line up in First Trade of the Off Season

The Portage Terriers have added D Darren Gisti (99) to the line up in a trade with the Waywayseecappo Wolverines for D Nick Doyle (99) as well as future considerations.
Darren Gisti is a 6’0”, 176lbs defenseman from Winnipeg, MB who split last season between the Virden Oil Capitals and the Waywayseecappo Wolverines. In 48 regular season games he earned 23 points (13 goals – 10 assists).
Nick Doyle played 2 seasons with the Terriers playing in a total of 90 regular season games earning 31 total points (6 goals – 25 assists).
Coach and GM Blake Spiller describes Gisti as a talented player with a big league shot. We expect him to help our powerplay.  Doyle was a versatile player who contributed to our championship in 2016-17.
