Terriers Add Veteran Forward

After making a series of moves last week to fulfill trades made last season, the Terriers have now started adding for the Fall. Portage has acquired 20-year-old forward Tyson McLean from the Humboldt Broncos for Future Considerations.

The Calgary, AB product won’t be the biggest guy on the ice (5’9″) but is solid all around. “Quick, tenacious &  very good on face offs,” says Terrier head coach and GM Blake Spiller. “We are excited to acquire Tyson to compliment the character group of players we have returning.”

McLean started last season with the Weyburn Redwings of the SJHL before being moved to Humboldt. He finished the year with 17 points in 46 games.
