Terriers Deal Swan

The Portage Terriers have traded F Sequoia Swan (02) to the OCN Blizzard for the MJHL List rights of F Karson King (04).

“King is a big power forward with WHL experience currently playing in the MMJHL with Stonewall,” says Terrier head coach and GM Blake Spiller.

King (6’1, 183) had 20 points in 50 games last season with the Swift Current Broncos (WHL). He played three games with them this season before moving to the Stonewall Jets (MMJHL). He currently has five points in three games with Stonewall. The Warren product was drafted 7th overall by the OCN Blizzard in the 2019 MJHL Draft.

Swan played 12 games for the Terriers this season and had nine points and 67 penalty minutes. He goes back to the Blizzard where he played two seasons to start his junior career.
