Terriers Down The Stampeders 5-2

Wowryk scoring his second of the night on a pass from B.Bowles.

Swan Valley was first on the scoreboard last night at the PCUCentre  with Navrot beating Bykowski at 6:56 of the first. AP and former Terrier Chase Faulkner would strike first for the Terriers on a beautiful snap shot from the top of the circle to tie the game at one. Chase Brakel would then add one of his own at the end of the frame to give the Terriers a one goal lead heading to the dressing room.

The Dogs started to pull away in the second as Knaub would net one and Wowryk would score back to back for a 5-1 lead after two.

McMurdo from Swan would score in the third to pull within three, but no closer as the Terriers would win their 10th straight 5-2.

The Terriers sit atop the standings with 86 points, 12 ahead of the second place Pistons with 3 games at hand. Our next game is this Sunday when we host the Neepawa Natives. Game time 6:30pm.
