After starting the season 4-0 the Terriers dropped their 3rd straight to the Virden Oil Capitals at Stride Place last night.
Virden led the game 2-1 after 20 minutes despite being outshot 13-6.
Lycar scored early in the second to restore Virden’s 2 goal cushion. With less than 2 minutes to go in the period, Zach Bennett was injured when he collided with Tyler Kirkup who was driving the net. Aiken would come in to finish the game.
Virden ran away with the game in the 3rd finding the back of the net 5 times for an 8-2 final.
The Terriers get right back at it tonight as they head to Winkler to face the Flyers for the first time this season.
