Terriers Fall to Prince George in Final Game of NJAC

The Terriers wrapped up the round robin last night against the Prince George powerhouse that has allowed just 44 shots in 3 games and remain undefeated.

The Spruce Kings struck early Dylan Anhorn goes top shelf over the blocker of Nathan Moore from the slot.

The Doyle Cup Champs went up 3-0 before the end of the first with goals from Lee and Brar, outshooting the Terriers 20-3.

Welsh scored the lone goal of the 2nd for the Spruce Kings on the powerplay at 6:42.

Portage`s Billaney got his team on the board with just their 6th shot of the game jumping on a loose puck from Orca Wiesblatt.

Poisson answered just over 4 minutes later for Prince George for a 5-1 final. Moore backed 39 shots.

The Terriers Cinderella season comes to an end as they finish the tournament in 5th and do not advance to the playoff weekend.

It was a great effort and experience for this young team who are set to host the 2020 NJAC in Portage next year.
