Terriers Fall to the Bandits in Game 4

It was a rough game 4 for the Terriers tonight as they ran in to the undefeated Brooks Bandits. Halfway through the first the Bandits led the Terriers 3-0 scoring on two power play opportunities and outshooting the dogs 13-1. The Terriers would pick it up in the second half with Brett Orr scoring on just the second shot of the game at 12:32 and the period would end 3-1 with shots on goal 21-10.

Just 1:36 in to the 2nd MacDonald would score on a rebound from Shawn Bowles to pull within one. Shawn Bowles would then tie the game on a beautiful short-handed breakaway goal and the Terriers looked like they were back in it. Brooks would then find themselves on the 5 on 3 and score 2 power play goals 21 seconds apart. It was all Brooks from there as they would score 4 more unanswered goals.

Josh Bykowski would face a total of 53 shots in his first Westerns appearance. The Bandits would convert on 4 power plays out of 7 and score one short-handed goal. The Terriers were 0-7 on the power play tonight.

The Terriers now wait to see where they finish to know what time they will play on Saturday. They have tomorrow off.
