Terriers half the weekend in OCN

Portage was on the road this weekend for a 2 game stand in OCN.

The Terriers would win the 1st game 4-2 with MacDonald, Faulkner, Stanley and Stewart putting up points for the dogs and Park with 28 saves and the win.

Game 2 would be a similar match as the teams were again tied at 2 after 40 minutes, Friesen and Orr with Portage’s goals. This game would head to overtime with Dumont playing hero just 2:05 in to the extra period.

Portage remains in 1st with 47 points, Winkler sits in 2nd 5 points back.

The Terriers next game is Wednesday at home versus the Dauphin Kings, game time 7:30pm.

Blizzard make a donation

At the start of game 2 Blizzard Captain Logan Harland makes a cheque presentation to Terriers Captain Brad Bowles for $685. The money was raised at the previous nights 50/50 and will be given to Braden Pettinger’s Trust Fund.
