The Terriers jumped to the early lead in OCN with Sokoloski scoring the lone goal of the opening frame just over 6 minutes in.

Anthony Keeper tied the game at one on the powerplay just 19 seconds into the second, but Enns got the Terriers lead back with the extra man just a minute later. The period ended with Portage up 2-1.

Anthony Keeper tied the game again on the powerplay in the first minute of the third. Scott Mickoski notched his 2nd goal of the season to regain Portage’s lead at 3:13. George King ties the game at 3 at 7:33 and that’s where it stood at the end of regulation.

A 5 minute 3 on 3 powerplay did not decide the game and they headed to a shoot out.

Leipsic and Enns shot first for Portage and did not score. King and Miller both scored for OCN ending the shootout after 2 rounds.

Portage’s next game is against the Winnipeg Blues on Wednesday at the MTS Ice Plex.
