Terriers Make Off Season Acquisitions

PORTAGE, August 6, 2025 – The Portage Terriers continue to build for the upcoming season and have acquired a pair of defencemen from opposite ends of the country.

The Terriers have traded future considerations to the Kamloops Storm (KIJHL) for D Kieran Thibault (07) and a player development fee to the St. Jerome Panthers (QJHL) for D Noah Therrien (05).

Thibault (6’2″, 185, L) will be leaving his hometown of Kamloops, BC,  to come to the Terriers. The big defenceman put up 10 points in 35 games last season as a 17-year-old rookie.

Therrien (6’2, 194, L) comes into his final season of junior hockey and will be suiting up for his 8th team in three years. The Montreal, QC, product had 8 points in 35 games last season.
