Terriers participate in annual Terry Fox Run

In 1980 Terry Fox started his Marathon of Hope to raise money and awareness for Cancer research. Every year Canadians walk to remember and to carry on the tradition in his name. The weather held yesterday for Portagers to join the cause at Island Park in Portage la Prairie.

The local run organized by Sherry Rutherford and daughter Kailee Rutherford a cancer survivor herself, saw a great turn out with a couple hundred people showing up to raise awareness.

Among the walk/runners were the Terriers who participate each year.
