PORTAGE, Sept. 17, 2025 – In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, the Portage Terriers will be celebrating Orange Shirt Day at our home game on Sunday Sept. 28.
Last year we partnered with the National Indigenous Residential School Museum of Canada and Arrowhead Development Corporation to create an orange Terrier shirt. We have been able to raise over $1,100 through the sales of the shirts for the museum!
Get your orange shirt for $30 with a portion of the proceeds going to support the museum.
Shirts can be purchased from the Terrier store, at home games, or online.
The orange shirt has become a symbol of hope, reconciliation and a commitment to a better future.
On Sept. 28, Doors open at 5:30 pm. We will have a drum circle before puck drop at 6:30 pm. The museum will be set up at the game and will be recognized throughout the night.
The Terriers are excited to be a part of orange shirt day again this year!
