The Portage Terriers recognized former head scout Frank Harding on Friday night for his 25 years of dedicated service with the organization.
Frank was the Head Scout for Terriers from 1998 to the end of the 2023 season before retiring from the club. Frank was instrumental in identifying young talent for both the draft and key trades made by the coaching staff.
Under his watchful eye, the Terriers won 9 MJHL championships, 3 ANAVET Cups and one National Championship, the 2015 RBC cup here at Stride Place.
Frank continues to scout in the WHL where has done for over 40 years.
The Portage Terriers, the MJHL and Hockey in general, are fortunate to have had Frank’s knowledge and passion for the game, but more so his loyalty to the game and all the people he has been involved with over the years.
He truly is a friend to the game of hockey.
Thank you Frank.
