The Portage Terriers have traded F Victor Proulx (06) to the Valley Wildcats (MHL) for F Dexter Materi (07).
Materi (5’6”, 179) started his junior career last season in the KIJHL with the Osoyoos Coyotes and Sicamous Eagles. This year he moved to the Olds Grizzlys (AJHL) before being traded to the Wildcats earlier this month. This season between the two teams he has six points in 13 games. “He will bring speed and skill to our line up,” says Terrier head coach and GM Blake Spiller.
Proulx (5’10, 161) put up 11 points over 20 games this season with the Terriers. The veteran forward from Trois Rivieres, QC, now get’s to play a bit closer to home in the Maritimes.
