Terriers Wrap Up Successful Pizza Pizza Spring Camp

The Portage Terriers wrapped up their annual Pizza Pizza Spring Camp this past weekend at Stride Place.

“Camps always give us an opportunity to see list players together as well as potential future players,” says Terrier head coach and GM Blake Spiller.

The weekend kicked off on Friday with registration at 4pm and the players hitting the ice at 5pm. They were on the ice again all day on Saturday in their separate teams.

“We had three groups of 2004-2006 players and two groups of players born in 2007,” says Spiller. “We thought the camp was very competitive which was good to see.”

The Terriers will now get ready for the MJHL Bantam draft scheduled for the first weekend of June.
