The Terriers Visit Some of their Biggest Fans

Dean Little who rarely misses a game gets a picture with the Terriers.

Yesterday we were invited by Doug Wasyliw – Service Coordinator for the Visions of Independence Day Program to take part in their Enrichment Theme Week.

The Visions day program works with adults with intellectual disabilities and Doug was sure to let us know that this group is some of the Terriers biggest fans in Portage. We were met by a very enthusiastic group of roughly 25 that were excited to meet 3 of our new Terriers this season.

Ian Mackey, Chase Brakel and Brandon Stanley were peppered with questions ranging from who has the most penalty minutes, to what’s the most goals you’ve scored in one game. Stanley was quick to answer having scored 2 goals the night before.

It was a fun afternoon for everyone that participated and ended with lots of photos and autographs.
