Familiar Face Back in Portage

The Portage Terriers have acquired D Ashton Fishley (03) from the Swan Valley Stampeders for a Player Development Fee.

Fishley (6’1, 195lbs) was named captain this season for the Stampeders and has 23 points in 32 games. The veteran from Balcarras SK, came into the MJHL with the Terriers in the 2021-22 season and had nine points in 50 games. He was traded to Swan Valley at the start of last season after one game.

“I’m very excited to be back in Portage to finish off my junior career where it all started,” says Fishley. “It’s an honour to play for the town, organization and fans of Portage. I can’t wait to get started in a Terrier uniform.”
