Special Nights To Remember

The Portage Terriers are excited to announce a series of special events at Terrier home games over the next few weeks.

On October 17th United Way Central Plains will be set up at our game taking donations for the Koats for Kids Campaign. Please bring new or gently used Winter outerwear to donate to families in our community. A donation box will be kept up at Stride Place until the end of the month.

The Terrier home game on October 23rd is sponsored by Westland Insurance and they are providing 400 free tickets to people in the community. If you would like a free ticket they will be available at the Stride Place box office starting at 9 am on Monday October 18. That night we will also be thanking our Terrier billet families and will celebrate with the players’ parents after the game.

October 30th will be a special night for Terrier fans and Alumni. We will be holding a tribute for long time trainer Geno Romanow who passed away in May of 2020. We will be unveiling a shadow box remembering Geno as well as a special sign in the arena. The Alumni will also be unveiling their new shadow boxes, recognizing past players who have gone on to the NHL.

November 12 is Military Appreciation Night. We will be recognizing our armed forces, and encourage all military personnel to attend.
