Terriers Acquire Orca Wiesblatt in Trade With Brooks Bandits

Portage Terriers acquire 2000 Forward Orca Wiesblatt from the Brooks Bandits of AJHL for future considerations.
The 5’10 Calgary native split his time last season with the Calgary Hitmen of the WHL and the Brooks Bandits of the AJHL. This year in 9 games played with the Bandits, Wiesblatt has 4 assists.
The Terriers have also traded 99 Forward Jacob Brown to the Thunder Bay Northstars of the SIJHL for future considerations.
“With the acquisition of Ocean in the off season, we are happy to have acquired his brother who is a highly skilled intense player. Jacob was having a good year for us and will be returning to his hometown where he will be an important addition.” – Coach and GM Blake Spiller.
