Terriers Play for the Manitoba Burn Fund Friday 13th

In honour of the Portage Professional Firefighters the Terriers will be wearing special jerseys this friday when they welcome the Dauphin Kings.

The Portage Professionals Firefighters local will be on hand to auction off the jerseys will all of the proceeds going to the Manitoba Burn Fund, there will also be some fun intermission games to go with the theme of the night.

When asked what made them decide to partner with the Terriers this season Chris Perry President of PPFF local 1079 had this to say.

“The Fire Fighters are big in history and tradition and with it being the Terriers 50th Anniversary season we wanted to help celebrate in a big way.

We decided to go with the traditional color of jerseys and kept the  logo with the minor addition of the helmet.

Everyone can relate to someone out there who has been burnt or suffered a serious burn and the Manitoba Burn Fund is close to our heart.”
