Terriers Shine In Skills Competition

The Portage Terriers took a break from competing against teams from around the MJHL on Saturday, and battled against each other in the second annual Terriers’ Skills Competition brought to you by Harlan’s and Pizza Pizza.

The teams were split into team White and team Black and competed in fastest skater, accurate shooting, relay, hardest shot and shootout competitions.

Breck Hirrschoff was the fastest skater with a lap of 13.95 seconds. Trevor Hill dominated the accurate shooting competition going a perfect 4 for 4 in 10.96 seconds. The relay race was close with team Black pulling out the victory. Daine Dellezay had the hardest shot of 90 mph. Logan Cunningham stopped all shots that came his way to win the shootout.

The overall competition went to team black by a score of 10-5!

Thanks to everyone who came out and cheered on our players!
