Terriers Stamp Out Swan Valley

The Portage Terriers dropped the Swan Valley Stampeders 3-1 Saturday night at Stride Place. The Terriers were in control for most of the game, outshooting Swan Valley 53-25.

Terrier defenceman Aidan Brook scored his first goal as a Terrier to open the scoring late in the first period on the power play.  Portage finished the night 1/4 with the man advantage. 1-0 Terriers after 1.

Swan Valley tied the game midway through the second off the stick of Darius Makse. It was one of four shots they registered in the period. Portage took control from there scoring two unanswered goals from Cam Bullinger and Rhett Perrin. Perrin now has 3 goals in 5 games as a Terrier.

With a two goal lead Portage put the game on cruise control and Gavin Renwick shut the door the rest of the way. Swan Valley finished the night 0/5 on the power play.

The Terriers are back on the ice Sunday night at 6:30pm against the OCN Blizzard at Stride Place.
