The 2023 Geno Romanow Par 3 Challenge golf tournament took place last Friday (Sept. 15) at the Portage Golf Club. The day went well despite some rain and cooler weather.
Rain caused some worry in the morning, but over 100 golfers teed off at 1pm and it stayed away for the first half of the afternoon.
The tournament was a best ball format with individual “closest to the pin prizes” on every hole. Thousands of dollars in prizes were given away. See our prize list below!
We renamed our annual golf tournament in honour of our dedicated trainer Geno Romanow, who sadly passed away May 8, 2020. A Fund has been created in his memory with the Community Foundation of Portage and District. Please contact them at cfpdi.ca if you wish to donate.
