Laforest Three-Peats as MJHL Recycle Everywhere Player of the Week

For the 3rd time this season, Portage Terriers’ net minder Justin Laforest has been named this week’s Recycle Everywhere MJHL Player of the Week.

Laforest,  had an impressive 0.67 GAA, 2 shutouts and .971 save percentage on the week. Coach Blake Spiller attributes a lot of the teams post season success to his solid play. Terriers are currently up 3-0 in their best-of-seven series against  the Virden Oil Capitals, Game 4 goes tomorrow at Tundra Oil and Gas  Place.

The runners-up are 20 year old goaltender Nick Deery of the Steinbach Pistons and 20 year old forward Jordyn Boyd of the Portage Terriers.
