Today saw veteran forward James McIsaac drafted to the Chicago Steel in Phase II of the USHL draft. Phase II is open to players of all ages eligible to play junior hockey and are not currently protected by another USHL team.
The 19 year old Winnipeg native has been a part of the Portage Terriers’ lineup for the last 2 seasons putting up more than a point/game in 2016/17 as a Turnbull Cup Champion and notching 53 points this past season.
McIsaac was picked 75th overall in the 5th round.
