Santin for Boman and Futures

The Terriers have traded Turner Santin to the Soo Thunderbirds of the NOJHL for defenceman Caleb Boman and future considerations.

Turner was a part of last year’s Turnbull cup champs playing in 48 games and earning 13 points. The Thunderbirds expressed interest in Turner since the beginning of the off season and feeling we have enough forwards coming GM Blake Spiller felt we could move Santin to a good situation.

In return the Terriers have acquired the CJHL playing rights of 19 year old Sault Ste. Marie native Caleb Boman. Boman played in 46 games for the Soo, scoring 14 goals and earning 34 assists. Reports are Boman is planning on attending a DIII school in the USA this upcoming season.
