The Portage Terriers held their 7th annual Geno Romanow Par 3 Challenge on Friday, Sept. 11 at the Portage Golf Club. A brief burst of showers midway through the round didn’t dampen the spirits at the sold out tournament. Closest to the pin prizes were given away on every hole, and golfers enjoyed an afternoon meeting the Terrier players.
Before the round started, Community Foundation of Portage and District Director Ken Brennan presented the Terriers with a cheque from the Geno Romanow Fund. The cheque for over $500 is to be used for team equipment and dressing room upgrades. If you would like to contribute to the fund, please donate at cfpdi.ca
