Terrier Grow Project 2021

The Ag community has embraced the Portage Terriers and has once again given its support. For the second year in a row Overton Environmental has donated a 25 acre parcel of land West of Portage for a fundraising grow project, Munro AgriVentures has agreed to farm the land and Enns Brothers will help with harvest.

The 2020 Grow Project was a huge success for the team and is something that will hopefully be replicated in 2021. Last year Overton Environmental donated the land, Munro Agri Ventures took care of seeding, managing and delivery to the elevator, Portage Agri-Sales donated chemical, Jonair sprayed the field, Enns Bros combined the field and G3 received the harvest.

It takes a community effort for a junior hockey team to thrive.

All farmers are able to help the team through our Crop Club. To be a part of the club donate a portion of your harvest at a local elevator. To learn more about the Crop Club, CLICK HERE.

The Terriers are always on the lookout for agricultural opportunities. If you have a parcel of land that you would be willing to donate to the team, please contact marketing director Cody Buhler at (204) 871-1162.
