Terriers To Celebrate Orange Shirt Day

In the spirit of Truth and Reconciliation, the Portage Terriers will be celebrating Orange Shirt Day at our home game on Sunday Sept. 23.

Doors open at 2:30 pm. We will have a drum circle before puck drop at 3:30 pm. The National Indigenous Residential School Museum of Canada will be set up at the game and will be recognized throughout the night.

We have partnered with the museum in support with Arrowhead Development Corporation to create an orange Terrier shirt.

The shirts are $30 each and a portion of the proceeds are going to support the museum.

Shirts can be purchased from the Terrier store, at the game on Friday or Sunday, or online.

The orange shirt has become a symbol of hope, reconciliation and a commitment to a better future.

The Terriers are excited to be a part of orange shirt day this year!
